Four people were injured when their vehicle struck a pair of signs Wednesday morning south of Worthington.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2011 Toyota Sienna operated by Noria Priclia Sebastian Ramos, 39, of Worthington, was westbound on U.S 59 in Bigelow Township, just south of Worthington, when it left the westbound lane, entered the median and struck two signs before coming to rest on the shoulder. The crash took place at approximately 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Ramos was taken to Sanford Worthington Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Her passengers -- Leonardo N Martin, 40, of Worthington, as well as a 15-year-old boy and 7-year-old boy, both of Worthington -- were also transported to Sanford Worthington Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, Worthington Fire Department and Minnesota DNR assisted at the scene.
