A collision Wednesday evening near Ashton, Iowa involving a farm tractor and a semi tractor-trailer claimed the life of a Sheldon man. According to the Iowa State Patrol, a 2023 International semi pulling an oversize load and operated by Tyler Fisk, 22, of Holcombe, Wisconsin was northbound on Iowa 60 near 250th Street. Troopers say the semi collided with the rear of the farm tractor operated by George Klein, 84, of Sheldon. Klein was pronounced dead at the scene by the Osceola County Medical Examiner. The crash took place at around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
