MINNESOTA – Two more Nobles County residents have died in relation to COVID-19, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.
The MDH death toll on Tuesday was listed at 26, two of whom were Nobles County residents in their 80s. The total of deaths since the pandemic began is now 27 in the county and has hit 2,943 across the state.
The newly diagnosed case count on Tuesday was 5,945, including 28 from Cottonwood County, 10 from Jackson County, 19 from Murray County, 21 from Nobles County, 12 from Pipestone County and seven from Rock County.
Just under 237,000 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the state this year, with 186,680 of those patients no longer requiring isolation.
