ADM in Marshall is partnering with Solugen to build a production facility next to ADM. In a press release issued by Solugen, ADM will provide dextrose as feedstock for production of plant-based organic acids for use in a variety of consumer and industrial products.
The agreement calls for Solugen to build a new 500,000 square-foot biomanufacturing facility next to ADM’s facility in Marshall. The facility will utilize ADM-provided dextrose to scale its current line of lower-carbon organic acids and develop new molecules to replace existing fossil fuel-based materials.
