MINNESOTA – A Nobles County resident was included in Tuesday’s COVID-19 death toll, according to the Minnesota Department of Health. Eight new deaths were reported, one of whom was a person between the ages of 60-64 from Nobles County. Of the eight people who died, six lived in private residences and two were in long term care.
This brings Nobles County’s death total to 12, and the state total to 1,779.
Another 414 newly diagnosed cases were reported across the state, with one from Jackson County, two from Murray County, four from Nobles County, and two from Pipestone County.
Tuesday’s statistics show 312 people hospitalized due to the coronavirus, with 137 of them in ICU. More than 70,700 cases have been diagnosed since the pandemic began, with 63,725 of them no longer requiring isolation.
