The Radio Works business office will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through April 10

April 2 Round Lake-Brewster preschool and Kindergarten Round Up is postponed to a later date


Prairie Rehab and Fitness will be closing their fitness center effective until March 27 or further notice. Therapy running as scheduled.
Avoca Municipal Liquor Store bar will close through March 27, but off sale beer and liquor sales will remain available, as will take out food orders, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The Minnesota Department of Corrections has suspended all visiting until March 26
~ Nobles Cooperative Electric lobby and offices closed to the public. Members can call the office at 800-776-0517.
~ AARP Foundation Tax Aide Services have been suspended until further notice due to the COVID_19 virus. Appointments have been or will be notified and rescheduled when they are able to do tax returns again.
~ Nobles County DAC is closed until further notice
~ Smith Appliance will be closed through March 29
~ Sterling Pharmacy is closed to the public until further notice. Drive through and delivery of prescriptions is still available
~ Diamond Vogel is closed to walk-in traffic. Curbside pick up is available.
The Achievement Center will suspend on-site daytime services through April 12
~ Avera Medical Group Optometry Worthington is closed until further notice
Worthington City Bus is suspending services until March 30th. 
~ New Vision Coop is closed to the public. Pick-up and deliveries will continue
~ Skyzone in Sioux Falls, is closed until further notice
~ Swiftel Center in Brookings, SD, is closed to the public through Monday, April 6

~ Graham Tire will close the lobby until further notice. Free pick up and delivery will be provided on all automotive service.  All vehicles will be disinfected before they are returned or picked up by customer. Please call 372-5454 before arrival.

~ Worthington Taxi is changing business hours Monday thru Friday 7am to 7pm. Saturday's 10am to 5pm and Sunday closed.
Worthington Tax will be changing hours of service to appointment only on Thursday March 25.  We will still be working but not open to walk in customer service.  Please call 507-372-7397 or 507-360-6333 to schedule an appointment to drop off or pick up your tax returns.  You can also email us requests at
Sanford Home Medical Equipment in Worthington is open but closed to walk in business until further notice. We ask that you call 507-376-9699  or 1-844-311-1212 for any equipment or supply needs that are necessary.

~ The Savings Bank of Lake Park has decided to close the lobby to all branches starting March 18, 2020 until further notice.  We will continue to provide drive-thru service at all of our branches.  Staff and loan officers will also be available to take phone calls and answer any questions. 
~ Compeer Financial is closed through March 31
~ Bank of the West in Worthington and Lakefield have closed their offices to the public. Drive-up service is available, and meetings can be arranged by appointment.
~ Until further notice, the lobby at Worthington Federal Savings Bank will be closed.  Drive-up will be open to conduct business.
~ The Worthington branch of Wells Fargo has closed the lobby to the public until further notice. Drive through and walk up service is still available, as is online and phone service.
~ United Prairie Bank has closed the lobby hours until further notice. Banking services will be available through drive-up, walk-up, phone and by appointment.
Rolling Hills Bank & Trust, Brewster & Worthington Offices will be closing until further notice. Drive-up business hours are open for normal hours at this time and you may call for an appointment.
First State Bank Southwest has closed all branch lobbies (except for the Rushmore office) until further notice. Banking services will be available at the drive-up, walk-up, and by appointment only.

Entertainment and Social

The Washington Pavilion and Orpheum Theater Center facilities  in  Sioux Falls will be closing to the public starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020 until further notice. Education programs will not be held until further notice.
~ Grand Falls Casino will be closed until March 31 
~ Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America will close Wednesday, March 18 through the end of the month.   
~ The Brewster American Legion is canceling or postponing all events until further notice due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The Cornhole Tournament and Fireman's Dance will be postponed. Weekly bingo will be cancelled until further notice.
The Palace Theatre in Luverne will be postponing all activities and events for the next few weeks due to the coronavirus. As recommended by health officials, the Green Earth Players production of “The Game’s Afoot” has been postponed until fall and movies will not be shown. Refunds will be provided to those that purchased tickets. Please call the box office with questions at 507-283-4339.  
~ All of the March Tuesday/Thursday activities at Generations in Luverne have been cancelled     
The Center for Active Living will be closed through May 1. This includes after-hours building access, group meetings, classes & activities. LSS Worthington has temporarily suspended dine-in meals, but will continue to provide Meals on Wheels with the help of volunteer meal delivery staff.
The Murray County Museum, End O Line Park, and the Dinehart Holt House will be closed to public use starting Wednesday, March 18 at 10 AM until further notice. All planned events will be cancelled until further notice.
~ In response to the Minnesota Department of Health’s newest COVID-19 recommendations, the Minnesota Historical Society has decided to close all historic sites and museums to the public through March 31. As part of this temporary closure, all public events, field trips and rentals are also suspended. 
~ Lakefield Senior Dining - 
Starting March 17 until March 27 we will be only have home delivered meals. If you would like a meal delivered please call 662-6714 the day before and we will deliver a meal to you. 
~ The Saturday Brunch Group of NA will be postponing meetings until April
~ The Sioux Falls Stampede has announced that the USHL has suspended game play effective immediately and until further notice.
~ Minnesota Extension will cancel all Extension-sponsored face-to-face meetings, courses and events, beginning Monday, March 16, 2020, through March 31, 2020. Club meetings and other volunteer-led gatherings are also canceled.
~ The Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party’s Executive Committee has approved the postponement of all conventions scheduled from March 14 until May 1.  The Minnesota DFL is working on scheduling virtual conventions starting in April.
~ The Republican Party of Minnesota's executive board is postponing Republican Party of Minnesota BPOU (local party unit) and Congressional District conventions through April 15, 2020.

Worthington AA Thursday & Friday night meetings postponed until further notice

~ Lakeside Church has cancelled all gatherings and events until further notice
Beginning Friday, March 20, in the Diocese of Winona-Rochester, all public Sunday and weekday Masses will be suspended for the next eight weeks, through Friday, May 15, 2020.  During this time, parishioners are dispensed from their Sunday obligation to attend Mass.  For updates and information please see
~ Living Waters Covenant Church is suspending all worship and activities until further notice.  Worship will be posted on the church website and Facebook.
~St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Worthington has cancelled all worship services and classes/groups until further notice.  Worship services will be produced and available on our church, our church App and YouTube.  The Church is locked at all times, but the office is available by phone 9AM-3PM during the week.  Church voicemail includes instructions for Pastoral Emergencies.  The April Voters Meeting has been postponed to a future date TBD.
~ Faith Formation classes and Stations of the Cross will not be held until further notice at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Heron Lake
All First Lutheran (Worthington) activities are online until further notice
~All American Lutheran Church worship services are still cancelled until further notice. Please watch your emails and Facebook for online service links. Due to the MN Shelter in Home, effective March 27th at 2 p.m., the church will be closed until April 13th with the phones forwarded and emails being checked. Watch your email for more info. ~ Evangelical Lutheran Church of Heron Lake, MN has cancelled Wednesday services and Wednesday school until the end of March.
~ First Lutheran church of Worthington will cancel all services and activities starting Wednesday, March 18th to Friday, March 27th.  The office will be open in more limited hours during this time.  Please call Pr. Jeanette on her cell 612-636-1533 or email with questions/comments/concerns
Worship will be Live Streaming ONLY at 10:30 a.m. for Emmanuel/First UMC (Worthington) and Adrian UMC. All church activities are cancelled until further notice.
The Worthington Christian Reformed Church has canceled all services and activities through April 5. Please worship with us by going to - online worship beginning March 22. 
The American Reformed Church will not be meeting for worship services or other in-person activities until further notice.  Video worship experiences will be provided on Cable 3,, and You Tube.

Grocery Stores

Fareway – Monday – Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. for 65 and older, 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. general public

Hy-Vee – All Hy-Vee stores will reserve one hour of shopping time each day for customers at higher risk for illness. Customers age 60 or older, expectant mothers and anyone with an underlying health condition that makes them more vulnerable to illness can shop from 7 to 8 a.m., seven days a week, at any Hy-Vee store. All other customers – please visit us during our new store hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Wal-mart - 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. until further notice. This will help ensure associates can clean and stock products. Stores operating under more reduced hours will keep current hours of operation.
