Sunday update from Nobles Cooperative Electric

From Nobles Cooperative Electric

Sunday Morning Update – 8 a.m.

Significant progress was made yesterday. At today’s start we have 2,798 members without power from a high of 4,500 on Wednesday. Yesterday, 1,302 members had their services energized. We are likely to see that number drop dramatically as the Fulda City and Fulda Legacy Substations are energized later today. Great strides are also being made in the Lismore and Chandler area. Approximately 400 poles and a large number of transformer poles were damaged from the storm.

We have had crews from the following cooperatives and contractors helping us: Highline, Carr’s Tree Service, Runestone Electric Association, Redwood Electric Cooperative, Meeker Cooperative Light and Power Association, Agralite Electric Cooperative, Raccoon Valley Electric Cooperative, Lyon Rural Electric Cooperative, Woodbury County Rural Electric Cooperative, McLeod Cooperative Power Association and Brown County Rural Electrical Association.
