COVID-19 Update May 23rd
MINNESOTA-Another 10 people have died in the past 24 hours from COVID-19 across the state of Minnesota, according to the Minnesota Department of Health. The total of people who have died from the coronavirus is now as 852, with 697 of those deaths among cases that resided in a long term care facility. There are currently 568 people in the hospital due to COVID-19.
There were 847 newly reported cases, including 1 from Cottonwood County, 1 from Jackson County, and 11 from Nobles County.
Of the 19,845 confirmed positive cases across the state since January, 13,485 people no longer require isolation.
