Task force arrests four after viewing social media video

WORTHINGTON - The Buffalo Ridge Drug Force released information Monday regarding four men who were arrested for allegedly possessing and consuming marijuana and prescription medication after a search warrant was executed in the 2300 block of East Avenue in Worthington on Wednesday.

WORTHINGTON - The Nobles County Commissioners this week heard an annual update from Sherri Smith and Morgan Woodbury regarding the Minnesota Cornerstone Drug Courts in Nobles and Rock Counties, which began in January of 2012 after receiving a grant in October of 2011.

Statistically, more than 76 percent of released prisoners in America who were drug offenders were rearrested within three years. After prison release, 95 percent return to drug abuse. Nationwide, 75 percent of drug court graduates remain arrest-free at least two years after leaving the drug court program.
